Think about the amount of time your children spend with you. Plan how you can blend into the life of your children and them to yours. The best way to solve any probable gap is by engaging in sports where your kids are also involved.
Dads should take time to break free from their busy day at work. Bring the kids out and teach them how to play football. Or help cheer your little man as he score a point in their baseball game. Mommies may also bring their kids when shopping for their outdoor gears for their next game or treat them for an inspirational day in a visual art museum showing great oil portraits of sports enthusiasts.
The point is parents should learn how to blend well with their children. Relate. Understand.
